No Training Wheels!

Earlier this month Kyle came in the house for his helmet and gloves. He also asked Sarah if he could borrow her knee & elbow pads. When I asked what he was doing, he replied that Cody took off the training wheels for him and he was going to ride his bike!! Sure enough, Kyle gets on and rides the length of the backyard. He stops and gets off his bike... and here he is saying "see Mom, that wasn't so hard!" And he's been riding with no training wheels ever since. He has very good balance and loves to ride.

Well last month Joe & I made a purchase of a couple of big ticket items. When we got married almost 9 years ago (was it really that long ago?!) we had a few dreams that we always wanted to come true. Well we have all that and then we were able to buy t

Yep, now we each have a 4 wheeler to take with us when we camp!! Joe's is the black one and mine is the lime green one! We have been out riding a few times in the snown already. We take the kids with us and this summer we also hope to train Dog to ride on the front of one of them. We love to just be out in the woods, enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells. Now we will just be out adventuring together as a family! Here are a couple of pictures from one of our rides.
